Mustique Blues Festival

Challenge & Solution

Getting 95,000 lbs of gear to the Island of Mustique was a challenge on its own. This was easily solved by working with Sound Moves and Rocket Cargo. The largest challenge JSAV directly played a role in was building an entire truss roof structure less than 15 feet from the ocean’s edge. This was made possible by planning three months in advance of equipment leaving JSAV in San Antonio, TX, and making sure to have multiple parties involved in the planning process. We packed spares for everything. We also had a local crew of 20, of the most amazing general hands from the island to assist with loading, unloading, building, and more. This show was a team effort from the beginning!
